Woohoo! We’ve just been nominated for a whole raft of awards!

Coming hard on the heels of our nominations in the Daily Echo’s Curtain Call awards, the lovely people at Curtain Up South have just published their Hall of Fame nominations.

Best Actor in a Play:

Not one but two nominations (out of six)! Simon Wisbey for ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and James Gould for ‘The 39 Steps’

Best Supporting Actor in A Play:

Again, not one but two nominations! James Gould for ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ and Peter Burton for ‘The 39 Steps’

Best Supporting Actress in a Play:

Kate Robbins for ‘Much Ado About Nothing’

Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards

We are thrilled to announce that, today in the Daily Echo, we discovered that our May production of ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ has been nominated for three awards in the Daily Echo Curtain Call Awards.

Peter Burton for ‘Best Director of a Shakespeare Play’, James Gould for ‘Best Actor in a Shakespeare Play’ for his performance as ‘Benedick’ and Kate Robbins for ‘Best Actress in a Shakespeare Play’ for her performance as ‘Beatrice’.
